Bigger is always better

The shop which fulfills the dressing need of bigger people in the society named as “Double XL” has opened its new branch in Negombo recently.

The concept of providing fashion for the plus sized folks was initiated by the husband and wife duo Adisha Dahanayake and Priyan Senarath along with their brother Deminthe Dahanayake. Since the inception in March 2010, Double XL has made a strong and positive impact in the retail market.

XXL choose the finest materials and every stitch is tended with care and patience while, the clothing are made of blended fabrics ensuring comfort as well as form fitting quality.

However, the clothing is available under the brands of MODELLO, OFFICE PLUS, PINK PLUS and MODE.

The concept of Double XL gifts came together in 2009 under the style philosophy of “Beauty comes in all sizes” and is available in platinum (5,000), gold (2,000), silver (1,000) and Bronze (500).

Double XLs services however have not been limited to those mentioned above. It has been generous to extend its services to the people in need. This was made possible in 2014 by its CSR project launched in affiliation with the SOS organization of Sri Lanka which turned out to be an ultimate success.
